Dwaraka Somnath Package

Day 1 - Ahmedabad Arrival

Up on arrival; meet our representative at the airport. Proceed for transfer to hotel. Relax and freshen up at the hotel. Later that day proceed for city tour of Ahmedabad - Gandhi Ashram, Jama Masjid, Hutheesinh Jain temple and Sardar Patel Museum; visit Akshardam, Adalaj ki vav, Sarkhej Roja and Kankaria lake. Overnight stay at Ahmedabad

Day 2 - Ahmedabad – Dwaraka

After an early breakfast at the hotel; proceed for checkout formalities. Later get ready for the drive to Dwaraka – it takes approximately 8 hours to drive 440 km, thus prepare for a long drive to Dwaraka. Dwaraka is one of the popular religious destinations in India – known for the famous Dwarakadhish temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. Up on reaching Dwaraka – proceed for Rukhmini temple and Dwarakdhish temple Dharshan; later transfer to the hotel and proceed for check in formalities. Overnight in Dwaraka

Day 3 - Dwaraka

Relish a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel before starting for the day to Beyt Dwaraka – a small island that offers an opportunity to spot dolphins and other marine -life. It is also one of the important places from where archaeological findings and manuscripts state that Beyt Dwaraka had been the abode for Lord Krishna. Later visit Nageshwar Mahadev Temple – one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.  Come back to the hotel for Dinner. Overnight in Dwaraka.

Day 4 - Dwaraka – Somnath

Start early with a good breakfast at the hotel; check out from the hotel and proceed for the drive from Dwaraka to Somnath via Porbandar. The distance from Dwaraka to Somnath is 250 km, takes approximately 5.5 hours to reach Somnath. Up on arrival; proceed for Somnath temple Dharshan – It is one of the most important Jyotirlingas visited by Hindu pilgrims throughout the year. Attend aarti, sit for sound and light show in the evening. Later transfer to the hotel and check in. Overnight in Somnath

Day 5 - Somnath – Diu – Somnath

After a sumptuous breakfast; proceed for a day trip to Diu. Diu is a beautiful island situated slightly off coast of Kathiawar. Diu is one of the popular weekend destinations near Gujarat that attracts thousands of tourists. Popular attractions such as as Bunder Chowk, Diu Fort, Panikota Fort, St. Paul’s Church can be visited. And Shell Museum is very unique attraction that one must visit in Diu. Nagoa beach is the most popular beaches in Diu – with activities such as Paragliding and boating to indulge in. Later drive back to Somnath for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 - Somnath – Ahmedabad Departure

Today is the last day of the tour. Have a delicious breakfast and check out from the hotel. Proceed for the drive from Somnath – Ahmedabad. The drive take about 8 hours to cover a distance of 400 km. Make sure to book a late night departure flight. Leave with great memories.
