About this tour

Kolad, known for rugged terrain and trekking trail, Kundalika River beautifully flows from the hills of Sahyadri's Maharashtra; into the Arabian Sea through thick forest and rice fields of the region. The gush of water of river Kundalika is controlled water released from Tata power Mulshi Dam thereby flowing through the hills and villages. One of the many important places falls on the banks of Kundalika is Kolad. It is here the enthralling white water rafting takes place.

08:00 am: Report at Kolad river rafting start point location for a memorable white water rafting experience in Kundalika River. Paid Parking is available here; once parked, meet our Kolad rafting experts at the start point, where you will be given safety instructions and safety gears such as Helmets, Life Jackets and Paddles. Make sure you are wearing comfortable clothes that dry faster such as Shorts or T-shirts that are nylon material or similar and Water shoes, sandals or old tennis shoes that stay on your feet with good grip. 
 
Get set and enjoy the most exhilarating Kolad rafting experience with 12 exciting rapids that covers up to 12 km.
 
12:00 pm: Like all good things that must end; you will reach the Kundalika rafting endpoint by 12 pm. From kundalika water rafting endpoint, one must take local transportation i.e. Share Tuk Tuk to reach River Rafting Kolad start point where you have parked your vehicle. If you have opted for the Kolad River rafting packages for stay then auto will drop you back to the resorts in Kolad where you have booked your stay. Tuk Tuks cost INR 100 per person to get to the Kundalika rafting start point. 
 
If you have booked One day trip to Kolad river rafting package from Mumbai and Pune with transport then your driver will start return journey. This package mostly provide both river rafting near Pune and river rafting near Mumbai. 
 
Kundalika river rafting packages also have an option for one day Kolad adventure package which includes Kolad Watersports, Bungee jumping in Kolad, adventure activities in Kolad. 
 
Up on reaching the start point – change into dry clothes and head back home with lovely memories.

Guidelines

 
  1. Avoid use of chappals as may get slip away in to stream.
  2. Please Note: Transportation from Kundalika river Rafting End Point to Kundalika water rafting Start Point is Not Included.
  3. If you have a Driver, he can pick you up at the end Point of Rafting else you will have to hire Autos / Share Jeep to the Start Point where your Car is Parked.
  4. White Water River Rafting and Rafting and River Rafting is all one and the same.
  5. Get discounts on early bird Kundalika river rafting packages.
  6. Kolad river rafting price on weekends is INR 1700 per person and kolad river rafting cost on weekdays is INR 1200 per person.
  7. Kolad River Rafting charges may vary season to season. We revise kundalika water rafting charges every year.

  • Strictly follow reporting timings as its a dam controlled water rafting Kolad, once the water is released rafting will start.

Cancellation Policy

● If cancellation done prior to 15 days of outing 75% will be refunded.
● If cancellation done prior to 10 days of outing 50% will be refunded.
● After that no refund will be provided.

- There is only one time slot in a day. i.e. at 8:00 AM

- Mostly, 8 to 10 pax are accomodated in 1 raft

- Yes, Its the only one place for rafting in Maharashtra. Its close to the two metro cities, hence you can say river rafting in Pune and river rafting in Mumbai as well. 

 

How to proceed with the Kolad Rafting Booking?

- Iniatially, you need to call on the Kolad River rafting contact number for booking to check the availability. If its available then you can book online using Gpay, UPI, NEFT, IMPS, Credit card and debit cards.
 

Which is the best time to visit Kolad?

- Kolad best time to visit is throughout the year as its a dam controlled river operational 365 days a year. Still tourist prefer monsoon the most to enjoy rafting in rainy season. Kolas rafting season is 365 days.

 

Is there any option for stay in Kolad?

-  Yes, there are many resorts in Kolad, you can go with kundalika river rafting camp for stay packages in Kolad.
