This eco-hill station is Asia’s only automobile free destination, an initiative taken to maintain this place an eco-sensitive zone. Located in a spitting distance from Mumbai and Pune, Matheran is a stunning hill station to catch a breath of fresh air. While there are a number of heritage properties to stay in Matheran, we offer one of the most unique stays in the midst of nature. Yes, we are talking about forest camping in Matheran. With beautiful tents and bonfire in the forest, one will experience the most relaxed weekend away from the city at an affordable cost.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival at Matheran Camping Site

We will give you a set of instructions to reach the campsite after your booking. Following those instructions, one must arrive at the campsite on own.

11:00 pm: Up on arriving at the campsite, our campsite representative will welcome you for your forest stay. Proceed for the check in formalities. Later you will be shown your tents where you can unpack and relax at the campsite.

01:00 pm: Lunch Time

02:30 pm - 04:30 pm: Explore the campsite and enjoys the camping activities.

05:00 pm: High Tea

07:00 pm: You will be served some delicious Barbeque. Campfire will be set up for you to enjoy some fun time with family/friends. Share stories and memories with each other.

09:30 pm: Lip-smacking dinner will be served. Eat together in the midst of nature.

Post dinner; spend some quality time with your loved ones before heading to bed.

 

Lunch Dinner
Day 2 - Check-out; Explore Matheran Hill Station

Wake up early to the chirping sounds of birds in nature. One can choose to go out for a walk to check out the sunset.

09:00 am: Hot breakfast and Tea will be served. Post breakfast; freshen up and pack your bags.

10:00 am: Check-out from the campsite and leave to explore the rest of Matheran.

● Anything not mentioned in inclusions.

Information

Guidelines

● Do not carry valuables or items like jewellery, laptops or any other things. Keep your bag light so that you can walk easily.
● Management & Matheran Camping site is not responsible for any kind of loss or damage to your belongings.

Terms & conditions

● Do not smoke or light any items inside the tents as it may cause a fire in the tent.

● Please Remove your footwear outside the tent and keep the cottages neat & tidy.

● Weapons or any inflammable things are not allowed on the premises or in the Cottages.

● If any damages are caused to the campsite, Cottages or bedding, camper/ guest will be responsible for the damage and will have to pay the charges for the same.

● STRICTLY NO USE OF DRUGS IN ANY KIND OR ANY FORM OR ANY OTHER KIND OF INTOXICANTS.

 

Cancellation Policy

● If cancellation is done prior to 15 days of outing 75% will be refunded.
● If done prior to 10 days of outing 50% will be refunded.
● After that, no refund will be provided.

FAQ's

How To reach Dasturi Naka?
- Reach Neral station by Mumbai Local trains & take a shared taxi to Dasturi (INR 80 per head)
 
Is Toy Train functional?
- Yes, It is functional between Dasturi Naka (Aman Lodge) to Main Matheran Station.
